Our Story

MOVA Jewellery was established in 2024 by jeweller, Molly. Her journey into the world of jewellery began back in 2019 when she started a small handmade jewellery and crystal business called Catching Crystals. Her passion for jewellery making flourished as she self-taught various techniques.

Eager to expand her knowledge, she chose to pursue a degree in Jewellery design, where she graduated from university with first-class honours. After sadly departing from Catching Crystals to focus on finishing her degree and gaining more experience in the industry, she found it difficult to let go of her passion for her own craft. After finally designing and making her first collection, MOVA came to life.

How long will it take?

Since most of our jewellery is made to order, we aim to dispatch your order within 2-3 working days. Lead times are subject to change in busier periods, however come back here to see our current lead times.

Shipping and Delivery

Standard delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 which will deliver your parcel in 2-3 working days of dispatch. Upgrades are available at checkout. Orders over £150 will be sent with free delivery.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you find our jewellery is not quite right for you, it can be returned in the original packaging within 14 days. Once we receive the jewellery undamaged and unworn, we will process a refund. We can not accept returns for custom pieces or any jewellery that has been worn or damaged in anyway.

Unfortunately, we do not offer free returns at this stage, return postage should be arranged by the customer.

Jewellery Care

It is normal for silver to tarnish over time, but you can easily restore its shine with a silver polishing cloth. For gemstones, simply wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. If you require a more thorough cleaning, a mixture of warm water, dish soap, and a small, soft brush will work wonders.

While we take measures in-house to ensure the quality of your jewelry, remember that these pieces are not indestructible and should be treated with care. Here are some additional tips to help maintain the longevity and shine of your jewellery:

  • Avoid wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering, applying perfume, or using lotion. Some gemstones are porous and can be damaged by absorbing any liquids.
  • Remove your jewellery before sleeping or engaging in sports or intense activities. We wouldn’t want your jewellery to catch on anything and break or become a hazard to you.
  • Store your jewellery in an airtight box when you are not wearing it to protect against any damage, oxidation or tarnishing.

Packaging

You will receive your jewellery beautifully displayed in an eco-friendly protective jewellery box. We suggest keeping this box for safekeeping when you're not wearing your pieces. Additionally, the cardboard shipping box will be filled with pink shredded paper for protection and both are 100% recyclable.

  • Sustainability

    We are committed to using sustainable materials in production, only using recycled sterling silver. We hand make small-batch collections or made to order jewellery and make components inhouse where possible to avoid mass production and reduce our carbon footprint. Our jewellery boxes are eco friendly, made with recycled and recyclable cardboard and a foam insert made from recycled plastic. We recommend you keep these boxes for safe storage of your jewellery. Our shipping boxes and accessories are 100% recyclable.
